Appointment

Huuhh..
Udh lama gk ktmu sm sahabatku yg lg sklh diluar kota. Jd pengen ktmuan sm dia, cz udh lama bgt gk ktmu.. Hampir 5 bulan udh gk ktmuan, jdnya kangen dehh.. Makanya ntar aku mau nelpon dia kpan bsa ktmuannya.

O.. iya teman, aku mau nanya niih sm kmu! Kmu pernah gk sih ngadain prtmuan sm se2orang, ntah itu tman, sahabat, pacar, dll? Nah.. klo pernah pastinya qta ngadain prjanjian dulu kn? Bwt nentuin kapan qta ktmunya, tempat qta ktmunya, dsb.
Itulah slh satu kebiasaan yg sering qta lakukan jika ingin ktmuan, yaitu janjian (Appointment).

Appointment tells about agreement for meeting with someone or other people. It is
better if we make an appointment before we meet someone or other people.
Making an Appointment :
o I’d like to make an appointment with Kristian
o I want to make an appointment to see…
o I’d like you to come and see…
o Can I come and see you?
Accepting an Appointment :
o All right, see you there.
o No problem, I’m free on….(Sunday)
o Be there on time
o I’ll wait for you
o It’s a deal
Declining an Appointment :
o Sorry, I can’t.
o I’d love to, but I can’t.
o I really want to, but I can’t.
o I’m sorry, I have another appointment.
Canceling an Appointment :
o I’m sorry I can’t meet you today. I’m very busy. Can we meet another day?
o I’m terribly sorry I have to cancel our appointment.
o I’m sorry I have to put ff our appointment.
o I’m afraid I have to postpone my appointment with you.
Responding :
o O.K../Fine!
o No problem!/No big deal!
o It’s all right!
o I see/I understand.

Dhina : Hi,can I talk to Afgan?
Afgan : Ya ,it’s me .Who is talking?
Dhina : I ‘m Dhina .Sorry to disturb you.
Afgan : No problem.What’s up?
Dhina : Well,you like to accompany me to Gary’s House this afternoon?
Afgan : Yeah.I can.
Dhina : Okay .I will pick up you at.5.p.m.
Afgan : Ok .I wait you.
